The Children’s Ministry of Selma Baptist
seeks to reach, teach, and care for kids from
birth to 6th grade with the love of Christ.

A nursery is provided for babies and young preschoolers
during all services and activities. Your child will be loved
and cared for in a safe and secure environment, while
engaging in Bible stories, games, hands-on activities,
and music. Parents sign their child in and out, and
receive a pager so that we may contact you should
we need you during the service.

For school aged kids, the classes are by grade:

Kids’ Church is on Sundays during
the 10:30 AM Worship Service. Our
children meet in the choir room to
have a worship service geared just
for them. Kids will worship in song,
motions, and other activities, and
learn from a Bible study. Each week focuses on
one truth that kids can apply to their lives.

Awana takes place on Wednesdays,
from 6:15-8:00 PM, for children age 2
to 6th Grade. Awana allows kids to
learn the Bible in a fun and supportive
atmosphere. Awana is centered
around three segments to maximize your child’s attention,
energy, and fun: Game Time, Small Group Time, and
Large Group Time. The Awana club year coincides with
the school year, and Awana is out during the summer
